I randomly stopped in the restaurant once during its early days, and although I didn't stay (I was on my some somewhere else), the vibe from everyone who greeted me -- including a cook and one of the founders -- was warm and enthusiastic, a far cry from the new hipster attitudes that come w/ gentrification. I'm ecstatic that the friendliness and passion for food that I sensed in the restaurant has extended to my Seamless experience.
So far I've had the crab roll w/ garlic butter and the 1/2 lb shrimp with curry, and both were delicious and unlike anything easily accessible to me in Bed-Stuy. I appreciate that they aren't stingy with the crab meat, etc., which keeps me re-ordering. To top it off, after reading an article about the two women who founded the restaurant, I wanted to stop by and dab in appreciation lol. I couldn't be happier to support their dream and contribution to the neighborhood.
